As a biography, Selita Ebanks was born in Georgetown, Cayman Islands on February 15, 1983. Her age is 27, measurements 33c-24-34 (84-61-86.5), heights 5’91/2” (1.77 m) and weights 122 lbs. She has seven brothers and always practiced sports, like basketball, soccer and tennis. Her family moved to America and she attended Spelman College, Columbia University and New York University. Her father is a New York police captain. The aspiring lawyer changed law school for modeling at 17 after an agent for Elite Model Management spotted her at Six Flags Great Adventure park in New Jersey.
Selita Ebanks has modeled for Levi’s, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger among other famous brands. She has been photographed by Steven Klein, Peter Lindberg, Mikael Jansson and has worked for Elite, Supreme, Women Management and Select Model Management Agency.
Ebanks began modeling for Ipex Bra and later started to work for Victoria’s Secret. It was not long before Selita was named Victoria’s Secret’s Angel and debuted in 2005 along with an upcoming model Izabel Goulart. Ebanks was once booed by crowd at Gillette Stadium, during a match between New England Patriots vs. Philadelphia Eagles. The beauty model helped start the Stardom Youth Foundation in the Cayman Islands, and has served as a mentor in the Seamen’s Society of Staten Island. The model landed the place 63 on the 2008 Maxim magazine ‘Hot 100’ list and is number 80 on the AskMen’s Top 99 Women of 2010.
Ebanks has some appearances on t.v series such as “How I Met Your Mother” in November 2007 in which she appeared with other Victoria’s Secret models. She was featured in ‘Sports Illustrated Swimsuits Edition in 2007, has recorded some music and also appeared on theUPN series. Selita participated on the third season of Celebrity Apprentice and was fired on April 11.
The 27 year-old Victoria’s Secret supermodel Selita Ebanks has been linked to several sports stars like Dallas Cowboy’s Tony Romo, Tad Kornegay of Saskatchewan Roughriders, Tennis player James Blake. She was engaged to Mariah Carey’s husband, Nick Cannon but they called off their engagement and split up five month later. She started dating New York Giants player Osi Umenyiora in 2008.
